Tools and special machines from MUW stand for durability and quality handcrafted in Germany. Precision and handcraft have a real tradition here. Our beginnings go back to the 60s. As an innovative developer and manufacturer of so-called rationalization agents, our initial focus back then was already the production of tools and special machines.
After the reunification of Eastern and Western Germany, the company was incorporated as a limited liability company in 1992 – new opportunities in the market sparked new ideas and approaches, so that the core business became focused on the development and implementation of sophisticated solutions in mechanical engineering and metals and plastics processing.

In 2013, MUW collaborated with Fraunhofer IKTS in Hermsdorf during a research cooperation – for the first time, MUW developed and implemented research reactors for the conversion and use of renewable energies. The successful cooperation continues today.
Work in the R&D sector has been extremely successful. This was followed in 2015 by the next major research project with the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Suitable equipment for simulations and tests of complex filter constructions was developed and implemented in test facilities for research work at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
