Mechanical engineering by MUW

In addition to 3-axis and 5-axis milling technology, our production facilities include turning, grinding, eroding and welding of a variety of materials. We can make everything for you – from a single piece and prototype to small batch production. Hardening technologies and surface finishing processes are also an integral part of MUW's technological processes.

Our service promise does not end with the product handover: we will advise you beyond the production process to help you optimize your technological processes and, upon request, carry out qualified maintenance, machine overhauls and repairs for you.

Powerful machinery for the best results

Milling

We employ modern Deckel Maho and MAZAK milling centers with 3- and 5-processing axes. In addition, we also use conventional technology equipped with position measuring systems.

For 3-axis CNC machining:
working area 1,500 x 600 x 600 mm.

For 5-axis CNC machining:
working area 630 x 560 x 560 mm.

For conventional machining:
working area 1,500 x 500 x 500 mm.

Turning

We offer turning using conventional, cycle-controlled and CNC machining.

For CNC and cycle turning:
diameter 330 mm, turning length 500 mm.

For conventional turning:
diameter 660 mm, turning length 1,500 mm

Grinding

For surface grinding, machines with a working range of up to 1,200 x 250 mm are available. We offer external and internal cylindrical grinding after clarification of the technical requirements.

Eroding

Our Fanuc-wire-cut EDM technology adheres to the highest standards of accuracy and surface quality. We process workpieces with dimensions of up to 650 x 550 x 250 mm.

Welding

We weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum using MAG, MIG, TIG welding processes.

Assembly

We solve demanding assembly tasks of small and medium size – including electrical engineering, pneumatics and hydraulics. For our in-house products, we also provide competent maintenance services.

Surface finishing

We harden, galvanize, anodize, gild, chrome, hot-dip galvanize or paint together with high-performance MUW partners and define the design and result.

Robots - Sheet stacking system for the industrial production of generators

MUW is developing the technology for a stacking table that moves vertically according to the height of the stack. It is also working on technology that is geared towards the unloading of fully stacked sheets.

Filters and Meshes

We supply filters and sieves in a wide range of designs for the areas of industrial process engineering, water treatment, geothermal energy and crude oil/natural gas.

We are your partner for the individual design and production of special disk filters made of welded profile wires, of stainless steel, and of high-alloyed special wires.

Production is carried out by means of a specially developed welding process, which guarantees high-strength filter constructions and precise slot widths.
